I'm terrified of toilets - seriously, they scare the fuck out of me :/

I used to be terrified of toilets! I always flushed with the seat down, so that in case something came out, I would be able to see it. Same with closets, I always kept the door open.
Kind of weird when I think about it.

I always keep the door CLOSED. I cannot sleep with them open because then whatever scary shit is inside might come out and kill me.

WORD. Toilets, closet doors, windows, EVERYTHING needs to be covered, shut and curtained if I want to sleep peacefully.

See, I love scary movies so freaking much, but they're not realistic, and even "realistic" horror movies, like Psycho, don't truly scare me that much. If they happened in real life, sure, it'd be scary as hell, but it's not something that I truly fear on a day-to-day basis.
"Real-life" fears, as in things that could actually happen... I'm terrified of being raped or tortured. I don't fear death. I do fear dying without having lived a fulfilled life, though.
"Unrealistic" fear... Um, probably having a demon possess me or some kind of evil spirit attacking me. Oh my god, and zombies... And I guess the traditional "slasher"-esque things, like someone or something hiding under a car and slashing my Achilles tendon... That scares the shit out of me. Also, people in masques because you can't read their emotions.

Lizards, fire, and OH MY GOD MY EYEBALLS, ANYTHING COMING INTO OR TAKING OUT MY EYEBALLS I CAN'T EVEN. MY EYES CONSTANTLY HURT FROM THE THOUGHT THAT THINGS WILL PUSH INTO THEM.

But lizards are my biggest, their tongues and their tails and regrowing limbs and the fans on their necks and the way they slither and oh gOd I want to vom.

Mediocrity. Seriously, go as mediocrity. I'm not entirely sure how that would work out exactly, but I think this is at least a vaguely creative idea.

I honestly don't have fears that come to mind. I can be creeped out by things but the only REAL fear I have is the idea of someone coming into my house, you know? Robbers or whatever because that is my personal space and safe haven. My constant.
That's the only real fear I have; is someone coming into my house...taking things, raping and/or murdering me and/or my family. :(
