omg I just got Final Cut Express cuz I wanna make some vids again, and BALLS, yeah it renders ALL THE TIME. I'm like hurry up, I want to preview shit, and it's like, no... and I'm like yeah... GOD.

But so far I can't find anything better for Mac. :(

Honestly, I don't know if there is any better software for editing on a Mac other than FCP. It's the only program I've known of, unless you wanna use Sony Vegas on a PC. But the rendering speed is affected by the processor on your Mac. I just got a 27-in iMac with an i7 processor. They told me that it'll help a lot with the rendering speed so there's that...

But ugh, I'm still in an editing funk. I have ideas, SO MANY IDEAS for vids but I'm just like blaaaah when I open up FCP. =\
