I LOVE CHEERS!! It's just something I watch as, like, reurns when I catch them but I fucking love it and I, like, grew up in my grandma's bar so it's familiar to me, the way everyone knows each other. I ALWAYS LOVED SAM/DIANE JS JS.

OMG, I miss this show so much. They honestly are THE OTP. I love how you said "it's like home" because it truly is. *sings* "Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came." Hee! Always makes me feel better.

The writing was always spectacular for their fights. I seem to remember one of my favorites with Sam saying that he wanted to just hit her against every wall in the room and shes all like, "Do, and you'll be walking funny tomorrow...or should I say funnier?" LOL That one just gets better and better.

Oh man! Now I want to watch it so bad!

I love this show sfm - I remember it being a big deal when we were allowed to stay up and watch it at ~9pm~ on a Friday, this and Golden Girls.

I'm watching the last three seasons atm, which obvs is Sam/Rebecca because that also means LILITH and I love that frosty bitch more than life itself. I also watched the Frasier ep a few hours ago with Diane and Lilith appearing in his subconscious - so fucking EPIC.

Anyway, totally up for related Cheers love - I'm saving the first 5 seasons for Christmas when all the current shows go off air for a few weeks.

OH MY GOD I CAN'T EVEN WAIT TO GET TO THAT ONE, I DON'T THINK I'VE SEEN IT, THE SUBCONSCIOUS ONE. I *love* Lilith and Frasier, my god, the words that come out of their mouths, they kill me. And how they parent, as well lol. And I love all the corpse jokes everyone makes about her.

It makes me so excited that you're getting back into this show because I knew that you'd start talking about Sam/Diane and I am so looking forawrd to the way you draw parallels to the Simon/Paula relationship because Paula herself has said, "It's a little bit like Sam/Diane from Cheers" about their relationship herself.
