We saw A Midsummer Night's Dream and I loved it. I have mixed feelings about Shakespeare in general. I do recognize that he is extremely talented and brilliant to write that way - his words are beautiful and so so smart so I respect that, but sometimes I wonder if it's all REALLY necessary to be so elaborate (my mind chants, "Simplify, simplify"). I LOVE Midsummer!!! It was the first Shakespeare play that I ever saw and I laughed so hard that I actually cried. I think it's Shakespeare's funniest play.

Ah, Midsummer. That was our winter play. Apparently they modernized it and used video game music - which apparently worked for them. I've never seen it, but it sounds good.

Oh my god! How cool!! Ours was a bit modernized too - the characters had laptops and even rapped a bit. You should try to see it if you ever get the chance!

THEN I TOOK MY SHOES OFF! And stepped in it all - it was everywhere, the ground was like, white. Then I ran in puddles, the whole bottom foot of my pants is soaked. It was so fun.
