LOL. SO I AM WATCHING BONES FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE, and I texted soonersurrender to tell her I was watching it and flailing at it and THEN I got a text from miss_fancy saying "SO I HEAR YOU'RE WATCHING BONES AND LIKING IT". I WAS TALKING TO GRACE ON MSN ABOUT THE SHOW WHEN I GOT YOUR TEXT SO I TOLD HER BECAUSE I WAS FLAILING OVER IT. HAHAHA. IDK WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT.

Also, if you like the show, it may not be best to start with season 1. Season 1 was good, but the great thing about Bones is that it consistently improves. Season 1 has a lot of good episodes, but the Pilot and stuff are not that awesome. So, IDK, if you watch a couple more eps before House and you think maybe you wanna go back and watch some, let me know and I'll tell you which ones are good. :)
The show really grows on you once you know the characters and everything. ♥

i THINK THAT'S WHAT I'LL DO - just kind of watch it as it's on now and then if I get more attached I'll go dig up the older episodes for fun. and I will hunt you down for recs.

Ah, see I disagree. I think it's a start at the beginning show. 'Cause I caught a random episode and hated it, then my friend made me start at the beginning and I slowly fell for it.

Well, I see what you mean. That's how I fell for it, too, because I watched it the first night it ever came on. But to be honest, I just kept watching it because it came on before House. It wasn't until Two Bodies In The Lab that I really loved the show, and that's a long way into season 1. The Man In The Fallout Shelter was also excellent but at that time it kind of felt like it stood out (and alone) from the other episodes. I think it took Bones a long time to really gain the rhythm and humor that I love so much. In season 1, I think my main problem was Angela. While I love her now, I couldn't stand her in season 1. She seemed so forced and overdone, and completely unnecessary. Plus, those holograms were the worst. I'm so glad they ditched those ( ... )

hey!!
i just started watching bones this season... and over the strike i watched the first 2 seasons to catch-up. IMO the early episodes are A LOT edgy-er. i totally recommend them.
no show could EVER be as smart perfect as [H]ouse. but i still enjoy Bones. it's like a guilty pleasure, i just wanna see the interactions b/w brennen and booth. and the decaying bodies are neat too... lol

HI I AM GOING TO BE A TOTAL DOWNER NOW - but I have not been feeling this season at ALL, so if you really liked a new episode I'd go back and watch the old ones. Because they are kind of amazing by comparison. LIKE OK, they had this episode last season that for some reason they chose not to air. Something to do with it mirroring a RL current news story, idk. Anyway, in their infinite wisdom they aired it last week as if it were a season 3 episode. YOU COULD SO. SEE. THE. DIFFERENCE. I was like "WOW THIS IS RLY RLY GOOD. ... OH."

Like I had a lot of fun and flail going through season 1 & 2 but when I started watching on real time... Ehhh.

lasdkjdalksjd I'm sad that you don't like this season! I've been loving it! I feel like the ones this season have been realllly funny. And the Gorgamon, and the Halloween costumes and everything?

LOL Player Under Pressure wasn't aired last season because it was a murder at a college, and the VPI shootings had JUST taken place the week before. But a lot of it was actually changed. Like, a lot of the conversations between the squints and stuff, since before they all revolved around Hodgins proposing to Angela.
