Um, so I am very definitely planning an NYC trip myself, though alas, not on those dates! I am trying to go this summer though (I want to be in Vancouver for XF2 :)) probably around late August. Have you ever been before?

I went a couple years ago and stayed with a fandom friend and we saw U2 twice at MSG. It's a pretty intense and insane place. I was totally not one of those who fell in love with it-I loved visiting and it was fantastic to be there, but I'm too much of a West Coast hippie to live elsewhere. I've never felt as...Canadian as I did when I was in NYC.

I'm in CA! Which part are you going to be in though, just the Hollywood area? I might be able to drive up (I've done it in the past), but it depends on work and other things.

Also, I am SO in L.A. for XF2. SO THERE.

YES! we don't know exactly yet, but we want to stay close to Hollywood because i am obsessed. THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME.

AND OMG YAY! LA WOULD BE AWESOME TOO! I just want to be in like, a serious city where it opens. BIGGER AND BETTER AND SDJFHASJKF. TOTALLY BRINGING MY SCULLY OUTFIT I AM SO EXCITED.

I'm dressing up as Scully, too! I'm way too tall to be her (I can call myself a Mulder-sized Scully, perhaps?), but I'm a redheaded scientist with a sharp suit, a badge, and a gun. Why not? ;)
