*flails* dklfj;fdhdk;fjahsd;lgh X-FILES. OMG. I think I'm starting to get why everyone loves this show so much. If it's anything, I just watched/flailed over Fight the Future? IT WAS EXCITING. AND OMG. WITH THE VIRUS ALIEN THINGS. AND THE MULDER/SCULLY WITH THE AND THE CONSPIRACY GOVERNMENTAL SECRETS. AND OMG. I ALMOST DIED. IT WAS AWESOME.

But on the whole, I kinda get what you say. Although y'know, I haven't been flailing for too long about anything to have that happen, I can feel that my fandoms are something more tangible than they already are, and you're right - not a lot of people get that (I'm not quite sure if I have it yet, either). And if I get into XF (I think I've already started), I may understand it more, where you're coming from.

and you know what. my kids ARE seeing this show. i've already thought about it. because if they're anything like me, which they will be, this show will do wonders for them. for their intelligence, for their self-esteem, for their vocabulary, for their sense of humor, for their love life and their ability to love, for their imaginations, for everything.

god I don't know WTF is wrong with me. it hasn't hit me the slightest bit yet. like, my body is all "okay, x-files movie. yay" GAH! i want to be happy, i want to be excited. and i am, it's nice to FINALLY be a part of it while it's happening (AND SPEAKING OF XF, OMG, IT'S ALMOST MY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY [lol i know that's like NOTHING] OF WATCHING MY FIRST EPISODES *bounces*). i kinda feel my xf love drifting away...i mean, like, it'll NEVER be GONE, but i just haven't watched in forever...I BLAME MY DAD FOR TAKING MY TV OUT OF MY ROOM.
