Aha! It is the fabulous Lissie. *g* Of course I know you very well from the Huddy LJ comm, no idea you shipped H/Hr too - excellent!
I'm just heading out soon, so not a lot of time to comment on your review for now, just wanted to let you know I'm adding you to my flist, 'kay? Because Huddy/Harmonian fans need to stick together. *g* Feel free to add me back. :)
LOL I love the way you sum things up perfectly. Saves me the hassle xDD
Didn't like the epilogue. Totally agree it should have been more about the aftermath of the battle of Hogwarts. I want to know what happened with people like McGonagall, Luna etc but apart from that I liked the whole book. Loved it infact.
All I can say is I have never been so stressed out reading a book. When Dobby died I went to pieces- it was because the chapter before... I honestly thought this is the end of Hermione and it hit me full on how much I couldn't handle that. And Dobby was so awesome and so I lost it.
I also cried majorly when Harry found out he would have to be killed. When he said there would be no goodbyes etc I couldn't read for the tears!
Cannot really process my thoughts right now so I'll shut up.
Ooh one last thing... Molly Weasley was awesome haha!
um, yeah. i am not interested in their new children, thanks. and it makes me sad that they had enough spare time to settle and have kids - they should have been out like, ruling the Ministry or teaching at Hogwarts and just kicking ass in gen!
it was so sad when Dobby died and I was FREAKING out too that Hermione was going to die at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange.
it was so sad he felt he couldnt say goodbye to people! i was getting so frustrated and sad!!
omg yes the dedication, that made me smile. It was like she really was talking to me haha /dork.
LOL I TOTALLY THOUGHT OF YOU WITH THE 'oh you taste much better' COMMENT. I TOOK THAT IN A PERVERTED WAY TOO AND I DONT EVEN SHIP THEM REALLY.
mrs weasly and mcgonnagal kicked hard core ass. if those scenes get cut from the movie i will be SO SAD. or, heaven forbid, if maggie smith or julie walters dies or something.
fkaljshdf clearly we need to discuss this more in depth. im at work so fail.
But now, I just wonder if it would have been nice to explore a "one week later" instead of "nineteen years later".
Exactly. My biggest issue with the ending is that it left me with so many 'WHAT?' questions. I wanted to see an emotional response to the deaths of Fred, Tonks, Lupin etc. I wanted to see the response of the wizarding world at large. Who took over hogwarts? How did Ginny and Harry get back together? Give me some tied up ends please! As well as that I agreed with you 100%. I just wish you could have been in London with us.
UGH I REALLY REALLY WANTED TO SEE THE EFFECT IT HAD ON THE WIZARDING WORLD. MORE THAN ANYTHING. and tbh, i dont even know how Ginny/Harry effing STARTED. i honestly dont remember lol. i dont like how the epilogue placed so much emphasis on ship. and id honestly be saying that even if my ship won. because at that point? it wasnt ABOUT that crap anymore. this was a huge, historical event, that their dumb little kids would be reading about in textbooks, and i want to know how it was handled by the world. UGH.
