I have been so busy and it finally just slowed down for a few days.

→ Last Saturday I shot a wedding. It was really hectic and I was so overwhelmed, but it was the first wedding that I've gotten to shoot with Tracy so it made all the difference having her there. I'm getting increasingly frustrated working for someone else, she's really nice but

Oh wait I thought you had a 70-200 lens in your collection. I love the 70-200 but it's huge and I will be so sore holding that all day long. God, weddings make me so sore, like if a photographer was not in good physical health, it could be a hazard!

I don't have it, she keeps making me rent it and has ZERO flexibility about it. Like she won't put me on a wedding, even if there are three of us, if I can't get the lens. I don't like it that much at all, it's huge and I get that it's low-light but I have a 100mm that's the same f-stop and a 50mm that's even lower. I can understand why it might be tricky during ceremony, but if she and another shooter both have that lens, I feel like it's less necessary for me to have one too, you know? She just frustrates me in general. I had planned on buying the lens but now I'm not sure I'll be working with her next year.

lol, done! ♥ I really need to get a photography tumblr, I'm just super butthurt that alyssakristine is taken because that's my website and my twitter and I want it to match. I can't think of any suitable alternatives either :/ IDK what to do about that.

I can't take credit for the cupcakes, that was definitely my friend Ali but yes they were awesome. And delicious! Pretty sticky though lol.

You might have been able to find it in Canada but it's probably way sold out by now. There's some on eBay though!

Lol at your Dexter props! Those are adorable. God, I miss being invested in a still running show to the point of doing cute things like this!

I love your mom for getting you all the figurines, they are quite expensive, but I can totally see why you love them. :)

On a completely different note: I like what you've done with your new layout so far. I'm not sure if it's still a WIP, but if you're looking for a fix for the annoying screwed-up overlay of the userheads, take a look here. your CSS for the userheads is missing a couple of !importants. Let me know if you need any help. :)

I miss being invested in a show too. I mean, I do like Dexter and other shows but it's not at all the same.

It's still kind of a WIP, I want to make a graphic for it and I still want to format the comments differently but I hadn't even noticed the userheads yet - gross, they need a fix! Thank you so much, I'll try to fix them and let you know!! ♥
