I REALLY NEED TO GET BETTER AT BLOGGING HERE, because it turns out I've grown to be so fucking dependent on having my life written down. I've been so accustomed to blogging all the details that my memory muscle has slacked a little - meaning I didn't focus on remembering things long-term, I just wrote everything here and knew I could look it up if ( Read more... )

Oh my god I had the worst experience seeing Woman in Black too. I have SUCH a pet peeve about people using their phones in theaters because it's so rude and disrespectful and because I get distracted SO easily. And I had the worst experience, this teenager in the second row had her phone out out probably a good 2/3 of the movie. I legit counted - she'd take it out every minute for three minutes for a while. I couldn't even believe that was actually happening, like people are that fucking selfish and ridiculous. You're going to pay for a movie and sit and scroll through Facebook the whole time (at least she had turned her screen brightness down, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE ENTIRE FUCKING THEATER CAN'T SEE IT) and be a selfish dick to everyone else too? It was just unfathomable to me and I missed a decent chunk of the movie because of it (my friend didn't care, it didn't bother her so I couldn't leave...and tbh, I'm sorry you had to - it was an awesome movie, I haven't enjoyed a horror film that much in so long) and I've been wanting to ( ... )

OMG I KNOW - if you need, NEED to have your phone out, sit in the back row. It's always some fucker in like the first three rows! WTF! and yeah like I don't get how people are so content to waste money like that - if you want to talk or Facebook that is FINE but you don't have to pay to sit in a theater to do it.

EH, a little bit but not too bad - lol before we went Lindsey was like, "Prepare to pay like $20" and I was like, "Is that including food?" and she was like, "No." I was like, "Is that per person?" and she was like, "Yeah." but then we got there and tickets were only $8 a piece and that's what we pay normally. Actually, in MN if you go at night it's like $10.50-$11.50 for an adult ticket so it's a little bit more expensive here but not at all what I was expecting lol

Where the HELL do you find a movie theater for 8 bucks out here?! Dude.

There's a $6 theater near my mom (but that's because it's the inland empire and not Orange County~ so even regular movies were slightly cheaper) and I loved it. It was a piece of shit and cold and the seats didn't even come all the way up to your head, but I have never found anything else that cheap out here.

Some mall in Culver City, I think? It was a 5:00 show so that's probably why. It was called Rave and the theater itself was fucking AMAZING, easily the coolest theater I've ever been in. It's a shame people were such assholes.

OMG, the photos. The first one of you from the side and the hair in your face. So gorgeous. :D
Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. YES. Have you ever watched Eat Street. Guh! I would totally order just sides at a place like that.
I wanna see The Woman In Black so bad but my theatre hasn't fucking brought it in. I hate living in a small town.

Thanks! It was a fun couple of days!

I've never even heard of Eat Street, fail. BUT I AM A SIDE WHORE.

I'm dying to see it ugh ugh which is one of the reasons I walked out - I've been looking so forward to it that I couldn't have it even slightly ruined.

OMG, Eat Street is awesome. It's all the food truck businesses people do and some of the stuff looks amazing. Some people specialize in desserts, crepes, bbq, burgers, and all sorts of themes. OMG, I was so hungry on Christmas day because they had a marathon on and we watched it for like 5 hours straight. lmao

Good move. Hopefully my theatre will bring it in in the next couple of weeks.

Wow, I love your beach shots. Your white balance is perfect in these.

I am sorry you got in a fight with Jason. That's kind of been my thing with almost all of the men in my life. They say some horribly insensitive and stupid things, and I know they don't mean to hurt someone, but *why* would they say that? It boggles my mind.

I'm so happy you're enjoying yourself in California. How much longer are you staying? I'm glad you enjoyed all the sides at the BBQ restaurant :D :D I would probably do that too. Unless it's brisket at this particular place that smokes their brisket for 30 hours, and it is *heavenly.*

Thank you!

Yeah, and I guess I can't really complain because he doesn't do it very often (he's pretty sensitive) but still it hurt and it was so stupid because he was just trying to "make a joke" but he's never funny.

I'm staying until I a.) can't afford it, lol, b.) get too pissed to stay, or c.) find an awesome job back in MN. It's all kind of up in the air but I have a place to stay until May for super cheap so at least until then. :) THAT BRISKET SOUNDS GREAT WHAT IS THE PLACE CALLED.

P.S. thank you for the Valentine's v-gift!! ♥!!

Ah ha! One of our producers' offices is in Sherman Oaks so we'll be there a lot coming up, I'll be sure to suggest it :)

I would LOVE to hang out!! I don't know where you are exactly, but I'm in ~Mar Vista~, near Culver City, I don't really know lol, but I can give you the intersection. I'll message you my number! I don't know my full schedule yet, right now it's pretty open but has some random things scheduled. I'll email you and we can figure it out! I love having internet friends all over the place! ♥

What beautiful picspam. So much love for these pictures. ♥ ♥ ♥

Urgh, that hotel story. I'll never get how people can be so obnoxiously loud while staying at a hotel? Are they just as load at home or do they only behave like this at hotels and just don't give a fuck about other people there?
