controversial questions - prompt post
We just had/are having a FABULOUS and slightly controversial discussion on homosexual derogatory terms in my previous post, and are shifting into race now, as well. And I got to thinking - is there anything you guys would ever like to discuss here? Anything you want to talk about but don't want to put on your own journal, for whatever reason? I SHALL LEND YOU MY FLIST (AND MY SPACE HERE) IF YOU WANT, they are opinionated, diverse, educated, and brilliant, and the talk is fabulous about these issues. Also, I am public, so that makes it easy for anyone to come in and speak. So this is a post for exactly that -
If there's ever an issue of controversial nature that you'd like to discuss here, leave a comment, a prompt, a question in this post. It can be about anything - race, gender, sex, law, politics, abortion, religion, any of that stuff. I'll make random posts to open these discussions, and you will remain anonymous when I do so, unless you specify otherwise (hell, you can even leave an anonymous comment HERE if you don't even want ME to know). I don't want you to worry about looking stupid or bitchy for asking these questions. Some things just NEED to be said, discussed, talked about. I can conduct polls for you, too - just let me know. I really love exploring this stuff, I love intelligent debate, and I want to open up the floor for that.
