Maybe wait a day or two more as they are predicting frost tonight and tomorrow night. Plus the wind. Oh my God is the wind blowing. We tied a rope over the greenhouse and parked the Jeep in front of it to maybe keep it in place.

Yeah, everything has been sitting on a table in the house for a week. Today, we'll put cloches on it all after planting it. :-)

Mom told me about parking the Jeep in front of the greenhouse! ;-)

What does said "Funny tool" look like?

It has a handle of about 18", a pointy bit on one end like a flat hand-shovel that spreads to a flat bit sticking out the back, like the unholy union of a shovel & a hatchet.

Then the pointy end is a pick to help you break up harder soil, like clay, while the other end is for digging.
