Wow, talk about delayed comprehension

About a 1000 years ago, I did bible camp every summer for a week - sleep-away camp with those wooden-base canvas-roof-and-sides tents like Girl Scout Camp has, crafts class, swimming, hiking, all of that, and some bible study thrown in for good measure. I went for years (dunno how many, but I believe 13 was my last year). A couple years in a row ( Read more... )

You do have a lot of alter-egos. I haven't heard you mention this one, so this is interesting. Neat.

She's... the Better Me. She's not like Fenn or Yissa, a non-socially acceptable part I have to ... had to portion off. She's an idealized person.

I know what you mean about partitioning selves. I think I've had too much practice at it building character personalities over the past ten years...not sure who the original ME is some days. God knows all the pieces won't fit back inside the box again...

I would like to know more about YOUR other selves, though. Might be an entertaining and enlightening night around the bonfire.

Might be. In the last two years, I've fixed a lot of the partitioning issues, but I think I could still call them all out if I wanted to. Don't think you'd like them very much - one of the reasons I keep them so neatly tucked away most of the time.

Should I assume, then, that the prudish, Puritan-values Me would have issues with your alter-egos? What about the less-savory versions of that which composes the greater I?

Let's see. I think your... Hunter? aspect would be able to find common ground with Fenn. We've discussed doing that as a one-shot LARP thing. I honestly don't understand why anyone puts up with Yissa, but she does appeal to the protector in some people.

*smiles* nice way to call me out on my assumptions. I do tend to defer mostly to the Puritan-values-you.
