Help me out, people?

I need places of interest in Rochester, distinctive places, preferably those that would have been around in 1932.

roleplay: silk and bones, rochester

I'd start with Mount Hope Cemetery myself

There is a good list on Wikipedia (note, always take Wikipedia with a grain of salt, but it's perfect for things like lists of places). Notables from there existing in the specified time period include Eastman School of Music, Mount Hope Cemetery, The Little, and Highland Park

First, nothing regarding Rochester but something I thought you'd like: http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring07/PATTribena.html Saw the 'armies' and thought of you. :)

Those are a few to start with. Hope they help.

Also, the librarians upstairs in the old Rundel Library building are very knowledgeable and willing to talk at length about local history.

Whee! I didn't know knitty had a new issue out! Thanks.

And thanks for the links! I remember a time when I pinged your l337 research skills every time I needed a new thing... :-)
