better than the previous policy of "just let it happen," if you ask me. the "holy war" perspective might be objectionable to someone who detests religious propoganda because of it's side effects, but the muslim people in the middle east tend to respond to that sort of thing.
and maybe if the leadership in other parts of the middle east start taking more responsability for what's going on in their own countries other foolishly aggresive countries wont commit themselves towards toppling stable governments and causing massive amounts of recruitments for terrorist organizations.
