OK lets say we both point at a colour, and then at another colour. We agree they're the same and we give it a name. But how do we know we're both actually seeing the same thing?
See, for me it's more like, I have a train of thought that makes perfect sense. It falls out like dominoes in my brain, like a logic proof. But how do I know that it has anything at all to do with the reality that others see?
I've seen too many people who appear to be living with a different set of truths than the rest of the group - people that you need to sort everything through a filter when they say it, to figure out where it lies in what you know is "truth." Not that they lie; they just rearrange facts in their minds to fit what is comfortable...

...maybe everyone does that to some extent...?
