As part of mathmusician's devotion to buckle-berry's Cardathon, I got not just the wonderful and amazing Henry/Clare letter Valentine's (now with added letter text!), but also this wonderful one from Evan Lorne to David Parrish (That's Stargate: Atlantis for the people on my flist who are currently going "who? Has she gone crazy?"). I promised to take pictures of that one

My evil Seekrit is that although I am an SGA watcher and love McKay/Shep stuff and other Lorne pairings, I didn't even know who Parrish WAS until I saw "Parrish/Lorne" on your requests and then I found the community and then I read things and ... yes.

See - IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!

So here I am, seduced into yet another wonderful pairing, and I love the fact that even David's name is fanon not canon. Somehow the fact that basically everything we know about him is fanon rather than canon has totally caught my imagination. So then I had to send ANOTHER card because I had sent the first packet but I was having so much fun reading the Porne (BTW: I hate pairing names, but that one ... BEST EVER!) so you got added extra value.

Better than a free set of steak knives ;)

I don't even remember how I stumbled into Porne (seriously, best name ever for a pairing. I love it!) but I suspect it was through some form of McShep with a side of Porne (which sounds like an odd menu idea) and then I had to go and hunt down who the hell Parrish was because hi, that was hot. Of course even Lorne's first name was a fanon thing for a while, which is why I now get confused when I read things referring to Nick Lorne not Evan. This is also why I was so resistant to tv fandom for ages because the damn canon changes all the time!

Damn, I've got several sets of steak knives going spare, I was hoping to offload one. Hmmm, would you like a smoothie maker?

I did indeed get confused and thought Even and Nick were weird identical twins or something! I hadn't met the fanon name enough to remember it before you SEDUCED me into this pairing ... you ... you enabler!

Smoothie maker sounds fantastic, but I already have a vegetable juicer and I suspect they're much the same. How about a bread maker? One you can put real flour and yeast and stuff in, not some weird packet mix only. Am I allowed to negotiate seduction gifts??

*hums innocently* I have never seduced anyone into anything, you must be mistaken. Though there was that one time ... Nope, doesn't count, I'm sure of it. *some more humming*

I should be able to manage the bread maker. I'll get in touch with the authorities and get them to send it on out to you.
