::HUGS:: I know we have only the fact that we're both VP grads in common, but I think that still makes us some kind of writing family.
If you ever need to talk, I'm a great listener. And, though I don't know you well, just from your LJ and from your tweets (and how others respond to you), I'd have to say you seem like a pretty great person.
Thanks, dear :) It's much appreciated. I suspect that I will feel a little better once I start putting words on paper again. Telling stories is kind of my anti-drug.
I think there's something in the air this week, or something. I'm not in much better shape (to the point of I had to dose the brain weasels with Xanax this morning to shut the little buggers up). It's why I've been pretty quiet on social media. Many hugs, and hope you feel better soon. :)
Your problems are not trivial, they are just not caused by something large and external. What you're describing sounds to me* like you are going through some real mental health stuff, although I'm not qualified to have an opinion on whether it's the mental health equivalent of "having come down with a touch of the flu" or a symptom of something bigger/longer-lasting. Hang in there and treat yourself well. And it's not needy to ask for support, it's a part of self care (or rather, it's needy in the sense of having needs, and there's nothing wrong with having needs). We are here to support you.
*I have been dealing with depression for a couple of years and have done some reading on the topic, which is what I'm basing this un-asked for analysis of. Speaking of the fact that it's un-asked for, if having this sort of comment on your post is not comfortable for you, please feel free to delete it; you can tell me but you don't need to explain to me why.
Thanks--that was really thoughtful of you. I know this is depression; I know what depression looks like, and I'm on treatment for it. But maybe my meds need to be adjusted. Dunno.
Hey, I said it on the other thread, but it was really great to see you at Shadows last weekend. It looked like you were having fun, which always makes me glad when someone from one style of larp is visibly having fun at another style.

Also, otters! A much cuter member of the Mustelidae family than brain weasels.
