Finally got around to watching the Hellsing OVAs 1 and 2
A couple of notes:
1) It is nice to have a truer-to-the-manga interpretation, complete with more badass Seras.
2) ... but I miss Floppy Hat Guy's music.
3) The original Van Helsing apparently shares a VA with the narrator from the first One Piece opening. I keep expecting him to yell out "DAI KAIZOKU JIDAI!"

I recently dug my Hellsing manga out of storage and have been reading it again. Now I'm getting back into the fandom. OH GOD IT'S EATING MY SOUL SEND HELP
