At some point during my childhood, an essay by Loudon Wainwright, The Annual Crisis of Love, was published in Life magazine. A copy used to be stowed in with the family Christmas decorations and Xeroxes of it made over the years are no doubt buried in the piles of paper still to be sorted and cleared from the basement. It won't be online because most materials aren't on before 1982 (when publishers started signing agreements with the database companies.
