Elle I don't even know what to say. I'm so incredibly sorry. Please know that my thoughts and love are with you and your family right now. I just told my mom and she wanted me to send the same well wishes from my family to yours. I have so many fun memories of playing at your house when we were kids, and your parents were always so generous and sweet. Let me know if there's anything I can do.

Ellie, My heart is heavy with sadness tonight as our family has lost a second great man too soon. I hope you know how much I loved my brother though we never lived together as children. The most cowardly thing I ever did was not seeing your father. I loved him so much. And I thought I had time. I told you I was going to try to see him. This is all because the problem I had with your mother. I am so sorry. I wish I could come; if somebody I had told me, I would have been there. I thought I had time.

i just heard that walt had passed, he was a dear friend and comrade from many years ago. i am very sorry that he has passed on, but thankful that he has a loving circle of family and friends to keep his memory alive.

Thanks Milo, I see on your linkden. Dad had a lot of friends for so long, it's great to hear from all of you so that I can be reminded of how wonderful he was.

I see that you went to UNC and studies botany like me, we should talk sometime.
