What does "fen" mean? A fan of fiction? Google said it was a type of wetland.

"fen" is the plural of "fan." It's specific to SF/F fandom.

I don't post a lot - I spend more time commenting in communities and friends' LJs. I'm hoping to change that, but I keep getting sucked into other conversations.
