Some of these intrigue me...but I really can't let myself buy them until I've finished at least one or two more paperbacks in my 'To Read' pile. I swear there's more than fifty...

Also, I think you're missing some words in your second sentence?

Congrats on getting published!

Thank you!

And my 'To Read' stack is about the same. I just keep adding to it.

Lisa! Woman...you need to have an addie so I can gush all over you. I love your new book,Dreams Come True! Very nice and the dealing with the father...excellent! Really good. You just keep getting better and better. Now, just kick that muse in the butt and tell 'em to give you a story:)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it. I was nervous about Dreams Come True. It's the first time I've tried first person, but I rather enjoyed it.

Thank you again!

Lisa, you did a great job on the first person. It's hard to do but you did it well. You get better with each story. Btw...found you on twitter. Hope you don't mind me following you:)

No problem.

I haven't been able to log on to Twitter for almost two weeks. I have no idea what's going on. Hopefully, I'll get it straighted out soon.

Hi cathrinerose September 26 2009, 16:34:33 UTC
I don't normally do this but I noticed that we are both following His Father's Son by shaolin103. I got curious about you and clicked on your LJ link.

Your writing is really good from the snippets you posted and I'm really jealous that you are a published author. I've got a million half-written stories on my hard drive and half-plotted ideas in my head but I can never make them go any where. Fair play to you for getting it done.

Sincerely,
CathrineRose

Hello,

Thank you. I know what you mean about the ideas. I have a dozen of them running around right now, but real life can make focusing a total pain.

I say finish one of your stories and submit it, you never know what might happen.

Good Luck!

Yeah, I probably will.

I've tended to fanfic for a long time, but i'm finally (i hope) out of my Mary Sue/Bella Swan style lead females.

Right now I've got the plot and intro of a zombie apocalpyse story half-written down, and I've gone back to it cos there's a lecture by the biology/math dept in college on how a zombie infestation might play out in a few weeks. the science was what was really holding me back (ComupterScience and AncientClassics BA student), so I'm thinking of this as a sign.

RL is a bitch isn't it? Mostly its cos I'm mildly ADHD and I just get distracted by new plot bunnies though.

Really nice to talk to you,
Do you think shaolin103 is going to post more? I've a huge sympathy for writers block but it feels like forever since she posted, and just when it's getting good.

(Bones is TOTALLY Remus, Jim is Sirius.)

I hope she post more. It's a great story.

And yeah, writer's block is the worst.
