I just got offered a job to play videogames for money.

Cross your fingers for me, this is the most awesome offer I could possibly have for this summer! Moderate pay, 30% discounts at Barnes & Noble, flexible schedule of about 15 hrs. a week, game previews and the coolest coworkers on the planet. I WANT.

Interview tomorrow at 4:30.

Gamestop! They're an offshoot of Barnes & Noble, and have a really flexible schedule, so I'd still be able to do a lot of my volunteer work as well as getting discounts on the bane of my wallet's existence games, CDs and books.

Think of the things you can put on your resume. Remember the functional resume lessons I have yet to give you?

This job means you can put down experience in:

-Quality Analysis
-Quality Control
-Analysis & evaluation of UI (user interface) design

And a whole bunch of other stuff. See how this pads the resume nicely?

Only downside I've heard from other friends who work in videogames, is that you kinda start to hate videogames after awhile. You spend all day working with them, the last thing you want to do is come home to relax...and play videogames. ;)
