By the way, I (finally) finished Beautiful Losers, and it's one of the best books I've ever read. There's one scene in there where one of the protagonists unveils his plans for suicide that's just heartbreaking, and another where he's writing his note for forty pages, all the while fingering a woman. It's a great mix of eroticism, idealism and prose-poetry.
