I'm obsessed with a new (to me) youtube channel, Tsvoric. I have watched her videos of DIY Christmas decorations for hours yesterday and today I am tempted to start over. Here I love the pistachio shells flowers!!!

I have an unhealthy obsession with Christmas decorations in general. I can't help but add something to my collection of decorations ( Read more... )

Are you fluent enough in Russian to understand her? Dan had 8 years of Russian at school but forgot everything. I have always wanted to learn it but I have an enormous problem with languages not written in the Latin alphabet. I might try again now, apparently this is a form of dyslexia connexted to the adhd, even if I am totally not dyslexic in any of the languages I know.

I don't understand Russian at all, unfortunately, but the videos are explicit enough.

Haha! That Christmas tree is for houses with low ceilings!

YES! And the tree works well in narrow spaces too! I saw a dozen of people who got this tree on a German Ikea deco group. I was wondering if it was a German thing. This tree is not available in Ikea Romania.

Yeah, they've obviously thought carefully about the design of the tree! I don't know: maybe skinny Christmas trees are the tradition in Germany? I'd be interested to know what Ikea's Christmas trees are like here. They do have a big shop in Edinburgh, but it's right out on the edge of town and it would take me an hour to get there and another hour to get back. Besides, I can't afford a Christmas tree and I don't want to be tempted to buy one!

That's a really cute tree! I'm looking forward to putting ours up, two small trees, one in Chris's room and one in my office. No snow in sight here. It was 13°C outside today and I'm still harvesting lettuce in the garden!

Wow, fresh lettuce from your garden! Here the snow melted but it's still very cold. We had a long autumn but it's definitely over now.
First I was baffled by that tree, but it grew on me the more I saw it. It's really cute!
Of course your Christmas tree goes in your office - that's where you spend most of your time! My main tree is in the livingroom but I have tiny ones in the rest of the apartment as well.

I watched the video - she has so much patience to make something like that. It's beautiful.

The IKEA Christmas tree is nice. It's quite narrow so would suit small rooms.

I love how she uses many natural elements and I wish I collected cones and stones and seeds because they look beautiful and you can easily decorate with them and create wonderful thongs.
Ikea always has ingenious options for smaller apartments. I really like this about them.

I LOVE Christmas decorations! We have a bunch of random things around our own. Maybe I will make a short video sometime. :D

Where are you going in Switzerland?

I am going to a village near Luzern, Buochs. I can't wait! (But I am also very stressed about it, especially since I will be staying at my cousin's and I worry about inconveniencing her).

I hope it won't be stressful. I bet it will be absolutely gorgeous this time of year!

I am sure everything is gorgeous there. The weather is still too warm for snow, but surely it will be pretty without snow too.
