cat trouble

Last night I woke up at a loud noise coming from the kitchen. I jumped from the bed and ran there only to see Lisa up on the table, taking some steamed fish from a bowl that was previously covered with a plate. Before I could rub my eyes and start doing something, she took the fish, jumped on the chair and then down on the tiled floor and proceeded ( Read more... )

Cat's are famous for their skills in eating fish, with all those nasty bones and stuff, so there's nothing to worry about. No matter how much Sheba and other delicacies have they eaten their whole life, they still know how to eat fish perfectly without any problems. What sort of Sheba you cannot find anymore?

I guess I expected her to pick the fish bones somehow. She seems fine but can't those bone puncture her intestines and who know what else? The classical solid paste Sheba has pretty much vanished from the market, replaced by these smaller portions packs with sauce. I hope it's temporary.

Before the bones get to the intestines they go through the stomach, and there's so much acid, don't think they make it whole until the intestines. Cats been eating fish since they know themselves, I think they know how to deal with it.

Wolfie likes the pate more too. What they did is shit. Do they charge the same for the smaller bags with sauce?

The smaller bags with sauce are slightly cheaper, but Lisa doesn't like them too much. I've been raiding petshops for leftover cans of Sheba pate, but I'm running out of options. Lisa eats other stuff too, but those were her favorite.

I love your cat icons, btw.

Hopefully she missed the bones, or crunched them up while she ate. Honestly, little trouble-maker, getting into the fish like that. If she hasn't been bothered by anything in a few hours, then she should be fine.

She seems fine so I guess nothing bad happened. I am just amused at how she likes to sample our food when no one is looking. Little thief!

I'll never forget the Thanksgiving that Cheetah sat in a pie. It must have been about eight years ago, but it's such a clear memory when I think of her. Mom baked a couple of pumpkin pies for the festivities, and covered them with a dishtowel. Cheetah, who was forbidden from the counter tops, had hopped up on one and sat on one of the pies. It was unsalvagable. I actually walked in on her sitting there that morning, sitting as if she belonged there. I still think it was out of spite.

Yes, she did it on purpose! No doubt about that!

My comment is a little late Lisa, by now you'll have seen that Lisa is fine.

Hugs you

Yes, thank God she's fine. It was a first so I didn't know what to expect.
