I've just heard on the news that the Romanian Orthodox Church has opened a popular credit bank that loans Romanian Orthodox Christians money for 6% interest. (Who knows what other costs there are.) That's really odd because I thought that lending money and charging interest was anti-christian. Like...Jesus threw all the money lenders out of the temple, and all that.

It just shows you how much organised religion is going down the chute :(
