No idea about the communities thing, since I don't have any of the very few communities I'm in - even my own! - on my normal LJ page, but yes, they've changed the infopage layout. I don't know why (possibly because the other side of the if it ain't broke, don't fix it coin in tech seems to be if it can be fiddled with, get a-fiddling), and it is indeed starker and more unlovely now...but again, I never gave a toss about the layout of my infopage, so... ~shrug~

LJ is still and always the only decent interactive blogging site, full stop. That's why I'm staying with it and keeping my paid accounts topped up. However, I've decided not to pitch in for the permanent account sale, because I have my doubts about LJ lasting long enough to justify the US$175 one-time outlay :-S

I get some communities and not others.

Corsetry and corset_shoppe don't show up. Melbourne maniacs does. Melbourne goths doesn't. For example.

I have no idea what the deal is :(

And yeah the new userinfo page is unfriendly!
