I wish I could come help you excavate! I love going through strange and mysterious old stuff (as long as it's stuff and not, y'know, mummified mice and poop). In terms of subjects I'd be interested in for books: birds, fishes, any kind of craftsmanship stuff. In terms of random old stuff, if there's anything for mustache care, that would be awesome (not for me, for M, he likes waxing and conditioning his mustache and keeps looking for a mustache snood). Also I collect old buttons. Old fabric scraps, too--even if they're small.

You should try to take some pictures of some of this stuff! Especially the bizarre and inexplicable! It's basement archaeology.

If you do find stuff that I might enjoy, I can work out some shipping money for you. Or, alternatively, I could make you something in return. :)
