Another fabulous episode! I'm wondering when they are going to peak! It seems unbelievable that they are just keep scaling up.

What a great beginning to the episode! Emergency re-entry to the 21st Century and both Dr and TimeAgent claim to be the one for getting them there. Great neck-cricking!

I just can't help but jump up and down with glee at ( Read more... )

I did love the whole thing about the drums in the Master's mind - I wonder what that's all about? He really does need the Doctor to heal him with teh Time Lord loving!!! LOL!

I thought this ep was real spectacle for all the colour and rhythm (the "drum" beating). It's fun to speculate about the drums in the Master's mind. I wonder if when he looked into that gate (or whatever it was) he discerned the heartbeat of time? Maybe that sends you mad. Interesting when you consider Time Lords have two hearts as well. I wonder if they are laying the foundation for something that ties a TL's two hearts and the heart of time together (for future eps). It would be interesting to find out if the two hearts had a similar or at odds beat to the drumming that affects the Master.

No, no, no! We need to see *Jack* and the Doctor do teh hot lurve thang! (Anything that gets Barrowman's clothes off works for me!)
Or maybe an Immortal threesome??
The thudding you hear in the background isn't drums,I appear to have had a large delivery of plot bunnies...
Sadly I have to disagree with you on this ep (See review on my LJ) as I thought it was hugely self-derivative.
Still worth watching, but when you know they can do better...

Ah well! Different strokes ... I thought it was a lot of fun - and having had the wonderful eps of the last several weeks - well it's hard to keep going at that level of intensity. They were bound to bring in the nuttiness at some stage.

I think you misunderstood me though on the "You too, Martha?" ::dies:: I actually loved that they both were unrequited for the Doctor. I'm much more interested in seeing the Dr/Capt slashy subtext, and this was an example of it to my mind. It was a lovely touching moment where they identified over their unrequited love. I don't want to see Jack and Martha together! *ggg* You should know me better! LOL!
