Birthday Notifications

I'm probably the last one to realise this but LJ has turned on Notifications for friend's birthdays. "For they are jolly good fellows ...! Hip! Hip! Hooray!"

I *wondered* where that facility had gone :)
So where have they put it now? Honestly, I just about get the hang of this and then they *improve* it so's I can't find anything! *shakes head*

I clicked on "Home" right at the top, in the LJ Tool Bar. That brought up a page that had the "birthdays" info all over it. Further down in the message on that page it says "Just go to the Friends and Communities section in your Message Settings to turn on birthday reminders." "Message Settings" is hotlinked so click on that and you get all the options on the next page that loads. Hope this helps! It's going to be a handy thing to have as my memory is not all that reliable these days!
