There were a lot of fascinating things Jevons said about how the capitalist experiments were working out, and how it's actually the people who had a criminal past who took advantage of the opportunities presented because they had nothing to lose so far as social status. The society frowns upon those that stand out, but ex-criminals who had been in jail had no face to lose in trying to make a lot of money. So a great deal of the country's free capital now lies in the hands of ex-criminals and that's starting to make a lot of interesting waves.
I want one of those people in one of my stories. *grins* They'd make a stunningly fun antagonist, I think. Especially since they're likely to jump on opportunities would make most sane people blanch.

That museum sounds so cool! One of the hard parts about visiting museums is having to pick the bits you get to see when there's so much there. The paintings are gorgeous, and the jade sword sounds so cool.

YES! That was exactly the problem at the museum! *laughs*
I just stood for minutes in front of that sword, and Jet came up and said, "What's wrong, Mom?"
"Nothing... it's just... it's *real*."
"Of course it's real, Mom. It's in a museum."
He had no grasp of the myth! *laughs* But he was really intelligent and bought post cards of some of the terracotta warriors that he found in the gift store. I now wish I had.
