We just picked up Star Fluxx on our recent visit to the US. I wasn't aware of the specific origin of the "cute fuzzy alien" so I'll have to have a read of the relevant material myself now. :)

*grins* There are other origins, too, I think... like Tribbles and the like, but I know Little Fuzzy did kind of give it a moniker.

Hope you enjoy the game as much as we do!!

The ride in the snow, with snow and lights and hot chocolate, sounds simply awesome.

I read Little Fuzzy back when it first came out (yeah, yeah - I know) and I still remember really enjoying it. I'd always been reluctant to go back and reread it because of that "interesting set of biases" issue that I expected to face after so many years.

I got Carla started on a Scalzi reading jag a while back and she eventually got to Fuzzy Nation. So I read (well, actually listened to) it, too. Wow. This is a reboot! I was very, very impressed. I think that my favorite of the new characters is the judge ("She is excellent!"), but they're all very nicely done.

Yes!! We're really enjoying it a lot... I do love Scalzi and his Old Man's War universe a lot.

Yup, some of the seams really do show on the old story, but it really was fun to reread it and then go on with Scalzi's reboot. *sighs happily*

How are you? It looks like you're doing well, i'm happy to see! :)
Wow, this traditional horse-drawn ride with your family sounds so nice! And to ride through what sounds like the loveliest neighborhood, makes it even more wonderful! What a beautiful picture you paint! Hey, do you have a photo of this that you'd share? I'd love to see, although I really can picture it, and it's truly a great vision!
Great to hear that you're enjoying the holidays!
Love your icon too, btw!

That sounds like a fun tradition! Nothing like hot chocolate and bonfires on a cold night, brrr.
