A Quiet Few Days

Spent most of the days when Jet was at camp working furiously on a follow up story to the novel darkprism_fics and I are getting published at the end of July. Torquere seemed interested in follow up shorts stories to keep the characters alive, and maybe progress to the next novel ( Read more... )

I haven't read Stephen Hunter but his Pale Horse Coming about going undercover into a hellhole of a prison is on my to-be-read stack/shelf/room, based on a glowing recommendation from someone, possibly Hradzka.

You might find Barry Eisler's John Rain novels and Joe Lansdale's Hap & Leonard novels of interest.

For real world sniping, there are several books about Marine Sniper Carlos Hathcock.

Oooo... okay. I'll put Pale Horse Coming on my stack as well. I'm in the middle of Master Sniper, which is WWII based and his first book and sweetly researched.

*writes down the others* *thinks* *starts putting them in Good Reads*

Carlos Hathcock!! I love that two of the biggest snipers in I, Sniper are based off his name. *laughs* I should read about him, indeed.
