It's cool. The new machine has behaved like a champ. It's working just fine, and far faster than anything else I've ever had before and it makes me want to play games that I've never been able to play before ( Read more... )

That's so cool! Yeah, I have noticed that when I assume people are well-meaning and just doing their best in whatever circumstances they're in, most of the time they act that way. (The exceptions can be spectacular, but they are exceptions.)

(Someone I know online is always offended and disappointed by the world around them - people are ugly, or badly dressed, or loud, or stupid, or incompetent or unhelpful or whatever - and it seems like such an unhappy way to live. I feel lucky to have relatively rose-colored glasses. :))

YES!!! I so have to agree.

I just wish that people like that weren't so *draining* on us hopeful ones. It's really hard to keep... I dunno... supporting that type, because they're always looking for reassurance that yeah, the world really does suck.

Oh, man, I'd LOVE it on a shirt.

I think that reading Whistle! with Jet prompted it, as one of the junior high soccer team members, the Captain and goalkeeper for the Best Team in the League (one of the Josui Junior High School's rivals) is nicknamed "The Guardian Diety".

Jet was so surprised at the explanation of the name, that it's kind of stuck.
