Getting the cards out as I just got overwhelmed with all the things that I had to do. I wrote down 10 cards, each with most of the lines filled with ToDo items. No wonder I was feeling overwhelmed.

I blasted through a lot in the last three days, but my writing has really gone by the wayside because of everything else.

On Dreamwidth. Flocked (sorry, folks, just don't want to deal.) The .org scam is depressingly common. There's some horrible things that are .org's these days. (No examples--my memory has mercifully blurred the details.) There is barely any fraud enforcement on the 'net and even scams that could be easily shut down just go on and on and on.

"...I don't tell her I used to get $100 an hour consultation fees..." Just don't show her how to use LJ. :_) But this is what artists make. There's any number of really good designers just eking out a living as sole proprietors. Good engineering salaries are much scarcer these days.

Mrrrrm. Cranky today. Maybe I'll go see Wolverine.

Don't see Wolverine if Sabertooth was one of your favorite chars ever, the rants I'm seeing now about him are ridiculous.

But we were happily entertained and I rather *liked* what happened in the movie. *laughs*

Yeah, I like lj a little too much too (all my stuff is here), but we've gotta snag our usernames, just in case, eh?

That lady sounds so cool. It sounds like she's really willing to learn and think about how to learn to use her computer. That's so important, and the fact that you're getting some lovely experiences from spending time with her sounds like it's well-worth it.

I really like this quote. I don't know why, but I guess it shows how she thinks, and I can relate to what she's saying/feeling.

Yeah, she is very, very cool. Spent two whole afternoons at her place this week trying to figure out what we had to do to get her website under her control. The person who worked on it before used FrontPage, and so kind of got her stuck... *sighs* So we're figuring out what all she needs to get it all together again.

It took a while to piece it all together, as all I started with was ftp access to the site. *laughs*

but, yeah, that quote was very... her. *grins* I love it.
