I have no idea. The community has like 30 days to undelete, but from the crazy post, it sounds like she kicked off all the other moderators and did it all herself...

.. and I have no idea what the staff can or can't do...

I think lj-sec archives comments as well as posts.

This is one of the reasons I turn on auto-comment tracking for my own posts -- if anyone comments, I get it in mail so I can never lose it.
