Now is a listing of what I've written. Not all of this is work or family friendly, but nearly all the stories have a rating next to them so you know what to expect.
Interesting list

Fan fic is a fun place to start, but if you want to get published eventually, original stuff is the way to go... Sorry, I don't know when you first posted this list. Are you still working on your Thorn and Ash stories?

Thanks... yeah, I totally agree. I just posted the list this morning... *laughter* I kind of gave up on the Thorn and Ash for the last few months. I know I'll get back to it, but I needed to work through some planning with it, first. I like where it started; but there's at least two or three levels of what's going on in their worlds I needed to work through before I could get the next few steps in and have them feel right.

I really love your comments. It's intriguing as I can see that you really are looking at all this from a writer's perspective, in how the relationships work, how the writing presents them and all that.
I'm very, very glad you enjoyed "Catch a Flying Star", as it was one of my first fics that I was really rather proud of. Rukia's always struck me as being very strong.
Yes. "An Answer of Sorts" relies very heavily on canon and how Yoruichi and Soi Fong meet up and their past together. Urahara is one of those puzzle boxes I enjoy returning to... in some ways, they say that Naruto really could have been named "Kakashi" as easily, so maybe Bleach could have been Urahara's story as much as Ichigo's. But Ichigo is the active one in Bleach... and Kakashi is no shy or fading flower. So there are differences. Still... my fascination in Urahara probably plays out in some ways in Getaway... *laughs*

(continued from last comment, which I'm not sure went through as I don't remember doing the captcha for it--if you didn't get it let me know and I'll repost.)
My responses to the other three works I've read so far ("Watched For and Seen," "Living in This Moment," and "For Myself") fall in between the two categories above. For new-to-the-fandom-me, each of these fics almost stands on its own. In "For Myself," I'm sure I failed to appreciate most of Orihime and Ulquiorra's interaction, mostly because this is my first encounter with Orihime. However Ulquiorra's need for clear rules and boundaries--in this case something approaching consensuality, or at the very least the lack of Orihime's interdiction--shone through in stark relief. It was easy to connect his characterization here to how you wrote him in the Saiyuki crossover, and that really made the fic for me. Similarly, the bit about playing tag made "Living in This Moment" for me. During most of the rest I was couldn't really get the pairing, possibly because you've written

With "Watched For and Seen" you should look at the specific chapter in the Bleach Manga that is called out. It is actually a retelling of a canon scene... one of my very few.... and one that actually got me rec'ed in a few places because of how it was done. *laughs*
Ulquiorra is a fascinating creature. And I think r0ck3tsc13nt1sts's love for him really kind of fueled my liking of him. *laughs* I hated how he was treated in the end in Canon, but... so it is.
Hey, This is Charmaine over at Y!G. I don't post often, mostly pics of my students work, sometimes pics of mine, sometimes truly maudlin poetry... but I would like to see your journal on my f-list.
