I'm sure the boys would love to. That would be a lot of fun!

Now I'm having flashbacks to Bertie Wooster playing the ukulele and drinking cocktails. Though I'm sure you play much better than he ever did!

*laughs* I actually kind of imagine it the other way around... I'm not at all good, yet, but that's half the fun. I imagine he'd have been quite good, especially with a few cocktails... *laughs*

Although you are describing a bunch of eventful things, your words sound peaceful.

I celebrate your Lunar Birthday and your peacefulness.

*sighs happily* *hugs you gently*

Yes. That does capture the essence of finally being able to rest again... it is finally peaceful.

Thank you.

I love the look of that moon cake. It's such a beautiful match to the eclipse.

It makes total sense that your stress relief ukulele should be sitting on a box of knitting.

I have Lava stuck in my head now. It's all your fault. That's not a complaint. What a sweet song.

Happy Lunar Birthday!

*laughs* So true!! Yes, the knitting helps, too, immensely.

It is a very sweet song.

Thank you!!!

Still stuck. It didn't help that the kids sitting in front of me on the ferry were watching it on the trip over. And over. But I still like it. I look forward to hearing your version some day. *hugs*

*flails about the photo*

I'm glad for the photos, since the kid needs new glasses -- and we found this out during the eclipse. So I wound up giving her my glasses for pretty much all of it. >_>

Yay! Happy that the photo is good for you! Poor kid, and so good of you to give up your glasses!

John was quite happy with his camera and how it took the pictures, too. So yay!

We got her eyes tested today, and it turns out that she is a full diopter (whatever that measurement is...) more nearsighted than she was. *wry*

*cheers the camera, cheers the photographer*
