I haven't done one of these memes in ages. It'd probably be easier to fill all of the slots if I did it for more than one fandom, but I'm just going to see if I can do it for HiNaBN fandom. I'm not tagging anyone, but if you're a fandom friend this might be amusing to read (if you haven't heard this crap from me already in other contexts).

I'd complain about Ples/Toni being wildly against canon, but let's face it: half my slash ships in fandom are wildly against canon given 90% of male characters on television/whatever are heterosexual. UNFORTUNATELY.

Yeah, I'm probably a hypocrite too with the whole "these dudes don't like dudes" thing, but at least the slash fans I consider to be friends can admit the unlikeliness of pairings compared with canon. If you'd ask, they'd say what you just have. I hate the BLATANT DISREGARD where even if you point out THAT DUDE IS WAY GAY, HIS DICK IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR ANY VAGINAS they keep plowing along like you didn't say a damn thing.

Although I know I'd plug my ears and go "LALALA" in the face of Conrad/Toni, which maybe makes me even more of a hypocrite. Most everyone else, I can see them liking women even if I'd prefer to write gay porn about them. But oh Conrad. You being with a woman is so laughable to me.

It appears you are just as thrilled as I am about the uproar of Lamont/Conrad :P Like, I know it's always been there, but ever since Worth shoved-- shoved, as in Conrad had no option in the matter-- Conrad into Lamont, I feel like it's exploded. I agree with you-- Lamont may seem more polite than Worth but he is the master of negotiations, Worth's bffl, etc. Lamont being a prince charming really doesn't work XD
