I checked my bank account five-ish days ago, thinking, well, I ought to be careful and not spend too much money. I've had this problem of going overlimit before, and it costs me $35 per transaction. Even for just a two-dollar coffee or something, a $35 charge ( Read more... )

Even if asking for money sucks, do you have a paypal or something people could drop a couple of dollars each into? It could be worth trying.

Well balls.

I'm sorry, girl. That royally sucks. Try not to let it get you too down though. Everyone and I mean it, everyone, does shit like this during college. I don't think you get to graduate if you don't accomplish a financial fuck up or two. I owed $8,000 in credit cards by the time I graduated. When I met him, hubby owed (wait for it) $23,000. No, I did not mistype that and that doesn't even include the student loans. I think you are supposed to deal with money problems in college so when you graduate you are like INSANELY grateful for your first 'real' paycheck and then you are eternally careful with your money. It's just a theory though.

In the meantime, chalk it up to a learning experience and always remember: Top Ramen is wicked freaking cheap.

Sorry to hear :( Everyone's sorta in the same boat. I got laid off and I've had to borrow money from my family the past month or so. Which makes me feel like the ultimate loosarrrr. But I'm lucky to have a tolerant family.

I'm sure everything will work out good. Chocolate solves everything!!!
