Some of my pivotal life experiences:

Being bullied at age 12. Experiencing that total breakdown of self-esteem that took years to rebuild.
Going on exchange at age 16. Managing to live for three months in a country where you barely speak the language and only know a couple people is a pretty huge confidence booster. And it taught me to appreciate what I have.
Becoming friends with Mr. Gerjon Kalaci. Or Mr. Social Butterfly. He truly made the last 2 years of my undergrad a complete experience. I met so many people through him that I would have never met...and got involved in many leadership opportunities. Another confidence booster.
Making TRUE friends in physio school...and realizing that friendship doesn't have to be surrounded by drama.
The moment I realized that Jon would never leave me.
Losing 70lbs and finally experiencing life as a skinny girl. It made shopping so much more fun!
The experience of giving birth...I seriously loved it!

BTW this is your sister if you haven't already guessed :)

I guessed! Haha.

Your pivotal experiences, both good and bad, have helped shape you into the awesome person you are today - compassionate, caring, a great friend (and sister), and a wonderful mama.

I wonder what life will throw at us and what our next pivotal moments will be!
