*g*

(no pressure, though!)

ps: my pup had a spay surgery today. although we discussed this thoroughly with our vet, it was the first neuter surgery after two (male) dogs, and i'm still a bit nervous. can't wait to get her back.

ETA: had bookmarked this but forgot to pimp. sheer genius, i tell you. a perez/money fanmix. *sniggers*

Well, you're certainly not putting any pressure on me by calling the translation of some little highlights of his book a "project". o_O

:D

Hope the gal is fine (I'm sure she will be!). They're growing up fast, aren't they?

Growing up fast?

the girl is being awfully clingy and i stayed around today to make sure she won't upset the suture. *pets her* she got a whole day of being utterly spoiled so i'm sure she's a happy dog. how are your babies?

Done...

So here we are. *g*

I obviously didn't translate whole chapters, that would have taken too much time. But I kind of collected things that I thought might be interesting for you. If you want to know more about a certain part or have questions about the rest of the book I'm at your disposal. And don't mind my English, please... :O

- Fabio was named Fabio because his mother hates nicknames and the sound of Fabio is very un-neapolitan so his fellow Neapolitans wouldn't find a way too convert the name. The only slight change would be Fabbio. His friends from the street would call him U Biondo ("The blond" in Neapolitan dialect) or later Schuster (as Don Bernardo used to be his role model when he was a kid).

- When they played football on the streets Fabio was often the one who had to get the balls back that had landed on a balcony (because he was "flexible" and could climb well - yeah, we know that, honey). He was often in trouble with his Mom after that who would suspend him from the street matches for a few days ( ... )

2nd part:

- His mother had very strict parents with high morale values. One day his father appeared on the scene like a hurricane. He was very, very handsome and Gelsomina immediately fell in love. But Pasquale was also a little daredevil. He didn't like a regular life and preferred adventure. And his full-time profession at the time was 3rd league football. Gelsomina's parents weren't happy at all. Her father didn't really think that "playing football" was a job. But they had no chance. Once Gelsomina was 18 she and Pasquale got married ( ... )

3rd part:

- He was reading in a news magazine that he was voted sexiest player of the tournement (in 98) and didn't notice that some of his teammates were standing right behind him. Of course they would tease him about it. After the WC he found out that he suddenly needed a pr manager. :p ( ... )

He should have kids already!!!

So cute... (I just hope I'll never have to watch the unpleasant scene of a hug between him and prissy-boy).

(all together now) AWWWWWWWWWW♥

i'd meant to drop this tidbit somewhere, but in a post-deal interview i read a few weekes ago, the boy was talking about his experience in madrid and although he chose not to reveal any sodid details of his adventure as a ts, he did name 'his friends' with iker (obviously) topping the list. i was amused to see las come second or third (can't remember) with raul only being named after six or seven names. hmm.

I read an interview with him about the Diarra-rumour. He was asked which other players he would like to bring to Turin and he said Iker and Ruud, because they're two "exeptional persons".

Everyone happy now? :p
