I really enjoyed the subtlety of this, and the way you managed to convey urgency through the way the letters were folding.

Nice use of the heat of summer to create the atmosphere as well :)

this is really lovely.

your characterizations were great; they matched well with your descriptions of the letters-- which was a beautiful touch. you have all the right kinds of subtlety (example with a very nice line: "When Gellert conceded to Albus' quill, he always made sure their fingers brushed together"). the subject matter was interesting too. :]
