The funny thing is, I only know Sandy from reading a SV crossover.
Still, the fic read well without being an OC fan, and I really liked the outsider POV, not knowing if Sam was really going to a friend's or what, the way Dean's casualness with the whole situation came and went.
Thank you! And I'm tickled to hear that it worked well for someone, like yourself, who isn't an OC fanatic, thus making your comment one of the most exciting I received. =D
Those Winchesters, they leave quite the impression wherever they go.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO noooooo baby!sam no no no can't breathe too much cute
I think you missed a golden opportunity by not letting the Winchester boys stay the weekend over at the Cohen house and during one of the Evil Newpsie Parties it turns out the Head Newpsie is actually a Gorgon who is turning homeless people into stone statuary for the new community park she's building, whose existence Caleb knows about, and littlepunk!Dean and baby!Sammy fight her and her collagen-enhanced henchwomen with Seth's help, but when Seth tries to explain nobody believes him, so he withdraws into a world of video games and comic books.
OMG, you should totally write this. I'm pretty dang positive that my neurons aren't up to churning out this story but you with your flair for boy's life adventures could make this particularly awesome.
And I know that I'm over a week late to the party, but seeing the way my story made your head explode was the best reaction I've ever gotten to any story ever. So thanks for that. =D
Oh, man. My heart is, like, overflowing with the Winchester + Cohen love here. OVERFLOWING!!! Like an eternity pool!@!!! We need to talk, girl, because you KNOW you/we have to write the sequel, set 10-12 years later. Or, ooh!! It could be... YeS!!! OMG MY BRAIN@!!!!!
I love it when my two fandoms collide in stories like this.
Great job with this story. There was a certain sadness to it, that kind of made my heart hurt for Sam and Dean a little. And also a hopelessness to it that made me feel really bad for Sandy. I think you need to write more SPN/the OC cross overs. :)
Fandom collision stories are one of my favorite things about fanfiction. All of our favorite characters should get to play together all of the time. =D
And thank you! I'm happy to see that the emotional layers came through as strongly as the action. And thanks to requests like your's a sequel to this is in the early stages of development.
Thank you! And, just so you know, a sequel or two are definitely in the works. Apparently the Winchesters and the Cohens want to spend some more time interacting and who am I to tell them that they can't? =D

The Winchesters and the Cohens were meant to interact. Our sequel is going to be the greatest thing ever!
And you know none of this would've been possible without you and your OC addicting ways. It's all for you, Cynthia!
