I'm feeling a bit down today. It's hard to come back down to life, you know? Just one of those days where it would be nice if the whole world just went away. Please ( Read more... )

Somedays you just want someone to curl up with. Someone to rub your back and tell you that things aren't nearly as bad as you think they are.
Yeah... those are the days that end in "-day".

It does seem to be shaping up that way. Ugh. It's just too depressing to contemplate.

Oh, I just meant that is always nice to have, even when things are going great.

See, see, this is why I shouldn't try and communicate when I'm like this. Twisting perfectly good phrases around to accomodate my own neuroses. *grumble grumble*

And, since I haven't made it very clear, I'm kinda laughing at myself at the moment. *rolls eyes* And you are aboslutely nice. That's a good thing to have, regardless. *nods*

I was searching for who would be Octavius ... it can't be ... sweet brave little Max Pirkis, can it?

(dude check out Rick Warden, he's like got that Young Bilbo De-Ageifying Spell on.)

I know! Look at our little Blakeney, all grown up. *sniffle* I've got very good feelings about what they're going to do with him in this one. Very exciting.

(dude, I know. It must be some sort of British secret)

You know what this means. Rick Warden --> Max Pirkis --> Billy Boyd.

Rome has been engulfed by the Vortex.

The Vortex rules all, baby.

*hugs* Sorry for the melancholy, dear! Those days are always hard. At least it's Friday?

Rome

:) I've been cursing my lack of cable ever since I heard about it months ago.
But...A nasty melding of sadistic brutality and animal cunning. A source of alarm even to Pompey's closest allies, Quintus' worst instincts are kept in check only by his reverential love of his father.

Can you be less Harry? I mean, it should be:

A gap-toothed melding of goofy ideas and endless courage. A source of joy even to the most serious of officers, his flirty instincts are kepy in check only by his reverential love for his Kitty.

Somedays you just want someone to curl up with. Someone to rub your back and tell you that things aren't nearly as bad as you think they are.

Damn do I hear you.

TGIF, baby. And now I have a big cookie from the bakery down the block and that's helping too. I think my subconscious expects to be going on vacation again today and since I'm not it's rebelling and taking away all of the happy little endorphins.

You know, I'm going to be taping Rome anyway, if you want I can let you borrow the tapes and stuff. It's always kinda lonely, watching a tv show by myself.

I know, I know, he's not Harry. But, you know, it kinda gives me a thrill to see actors I love playing the opposite of how I expect them to be. This Quintus Pompey looks fascinating, yo.

But I'll still miss our gap-toothed sweetheart.

Hurray cookies!

that would be spiffy...only I may not have a VCR either :) But I'm sure sometime I'll figure out some way...

I think I was mostly amused by how much he really isn't Harry. Guess it's like Damian Lewis playing Soames Forsyte. And I hear you - it is interesting seeing them play different characters, and I bet he'll do an awesome job. I seem to remember in Rick Warden's website someone who knew him commenting that he's surprised Rick always gets these scrappy/fighting/warrior roles since he's one of the most non-violent people he knows.

*sigh* yeah. there's just something about Harry pinning over Kitty.

I would DVR it for you, but have not yet reached that state of technological bliss. Am still taping it, we'll just have to see what happens.

I love actors. I love actors who can really act. I love our boys. So.Much.Love.

*curls up on couch, rubs your back, reminds you of coming End Times*

BTW, people congregating and chatting at printers is the number one impetus for people to go postal. Or, at least, for me to go postal.

Afraid I can't quite reach over the Atlantic ocean for that one, but I hope things get better for you soon. Maybe your just having an off day.

Good thoughts are more then enough.

And it mostly is just an off sort of day. This, like all Shadows, shall pass. =D
