I have seen Batman Begins and it was glorious! I loved everything about it, I even loved Katie Holmes' character! This is how much I love and adore this movie! I saw it on Friday and then I saw it again on Saturday and either tonight or tomorrow night I'm going to see it in IMAX. If I had millions and millions of dollars I would give them to ( Read more... )

Super Sekrit message received. The End Times are looking better and better all the time.

I'm not going to get to see Batman until next week, but am hugely looking forward to it.

Work now. Not as much fun as preparing for the End Times.

Nothing is as much fun as preparing for the end of the world.

How funny, your reaction to that movie is about the same as mine! I wish we still lived close, so we could have seen it together... and drooled. Woulda been fun... but as it was, I had no one to see it with :( and saw it alone. Ah well... it was enjoyable all the same. And Andy would like to see it in IMAX with me sometime, so that's still a possibility. I saw one of the Matrix movies in IMAX though, and have to say, there's really no big difference if it's not made for IMAX. But might have to give it a shot anyway... hope there's a sequel or two to come!

Yeah, I saw Prisoner of Azkaban in IMAX last year and there wasn't a huge difference. I'm kinda curious to see if Batman Begins might work a little better what with the swooping cinematography and big car chase. One can only hope. ;-)

My fingers and toes are crossed for a sequel and from what Chris Nolan (the director and co-writer) says he already has plans to make it a trilogy. pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease

Ach, I know what you mean about Cillian Murphy. Every time he came on screen, most of my brain stopped paying attention to the plot so I could devote more brainpower to staring at those pretty eyes... ;P Oh man, I would love to see that movie again. I didn't remember who Christian Bale was, and I didn't really have any expectations going in, but wow did he make a great Bruce Wayne/Batman! :) *wanders off smiling vacantly*

Prettiest movie of the summer. You know, it probably says something about us that we're awfully attracted to these seriously fucked up characters but, you know, they're awfully shiny. Sometimes it's good to channel and embrace one's inner Orlando Bloom.
