Once upon a time the prospect of pirates did not excite me. I saw Pirates of the Caribbean in the theater and thought it was fun but, really, how great could a movie based on an amusement park ride be? I received the dvd as a Christmas present and was actually a little disappointed. I look back on that attitude now and all I can do is shake my head
