So tonight is the series finale of The West Wing or some such and the Baylor Sister is TiVoing it for us not because we really care how it ends (Jimmy Smits? Who cares about him? And Josh/Donna = eeeeeeew *shudder*) but we do care about seeing Josh and Sam interacting on our TV screen again, no matter what. When she called to tell me what she'd be ( Read more... )

Two humongous sneezes just exploded out of me and startled the Pup out of his sleep. He had to make sure I was okay, after all. It's always funny, every time I make a strange noise or yell at my computer he gets up and comes over because he wants to make me happy. He's such a good Pup, except when he's not. ;-)

And that's all I want! Is that too much to ask for in a boyfriend? hmpf! Nixon never had to ask. Frodo never had to ask. Ryan takes care of everybody!!!

I need to get out and get an actual life.

... on second thought, still too lazy. Huzzah!

Yeah, that's why I keep the Pup. He takes good care of me. Except for the fact that he'll never make me breakfast in bed or get me soup when I'm sick or bathe himself or learn how to use the toilet.

Life? What is this 'actual life' of which you speak?

Neither will most straight men.

It was a magazine where they showed pictures of paratroopers and made me want to be one.

hmmm, very true. I guess I'll stick with the dog, at least that way I'll never expect anything.

There is something awfully appealing about that... but it is a lot of work. The thought of running down the block is tiring enough, let alone running something like Currahee.

Good luck with the clothing hunt and the return to work. Catch you on the IM?

My sneezes do not phase Minou, but they scare the bejeezus out of Scout.

Clothing hunt was surprisingly not as difficult as I feared it would be.

All companies = Nazis. I think we need to call in the Airborne.

Poor Scout. What is Mommy doing making those huge noises? It's all so scary.

They're bringing Sam back?

The other week, just after I got back to Maryland, Aimee and I randomly had the tv on and TWW came on and it was Leo's funeral and we ended up riveted and then very, very, very, very distraught that they didn't bring Sam in to be a pall bearer, or at least present. Because. Really. He would have been.

Sometime I need to finish watchign season 4...

YES!! Sam is back for the last three episodes or something and I am full of GLEE!

Wanna know a secret? I've never watched past the third season. Well, I've seen bits and pieces of 4 and 5 and in so doing I have decided that I have no need to ever watch past 3. Things change, especially after Rob Lowe and Aaron Sorkin leave and it's just not the same.

Leo's funeral must have been heartbreaking. I'm a little relieved I never saw it because I would've been a mess for days. *hugs cast* *hugs you*
